General Tour Information
Included Features for all Tours: Transportation by late model motorcoaches with professional drivers; first class hotel accommodations; admission to all listed attractions, sightseeing, “step on” guides, meals listed in the tour itinerary and services of a professional tour director. Personal expenses such as room service, valet service, personal phone calls, tips to step on guides, etc. are not included in the tour price. Gratuities for your tour director and motorcoach driver are not included but are always appreciated.
Reservations: We accept reservations on a first come-first serve basis. The appropriate deposit is required within ten days of your phone or electronic reservation. Balance of tour price is due 30 days prior to departure unless otherwise noted. Personal checks, certified bank checks, and money orders are accepted forms of payment. We do not accept credit or debit cards. Appropriate bank charges will be assessed for returned checks.
Deposit Requirements: One day tours – $30.00 per person; Tours up to $500.00 – $50.00 per person; Tours $500.00 to $1000.00 – $100.00 per person; Tours over $1000.00 – $200.00 per person. Payment arrangements can be made on more expensive tours by making payments of no less than $25.00 throughout the year. Payments will be credited toward your account and balance information can be obtained from our office.
Cancellations: Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to departure will be subject to a cancellation penalty (65 days prior to departure on tours that include train fare, airfare or cruise fare. No Shows = No Refund.
Final Documents: Final documents for your tour will be mailed approximately 7 days prior to departure. Documents may or may not be sent for one day tours; contacting our office for departure times & locations is encouraged.
In accordance with DOT Regulations, no smoking or alcoholic beverages of ANY KIND (this includes vaping) are allowed on the motorcoach.
Luggage: One large suitcase or garment bag and one overnight case per person is allowed.
Responsibility: The Travel’n Tarheel, LLC operates as a tour broker, acting as an agent for the passengers in matters pertaining to transportation, lodging, sightseeing, and other services and can assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury to person or property whatsoever; for substitution of carriers, hotel properties or attractions with or without notice due to circumstances beyond our control. The Travel’n Tarheel, LLC retains the right to decline or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time. The Travel’n Tarheel, LLC cannot assume any responsibility for loss or damage to any personal property, including luggage, left on the motorcoach at any time.
